Kew Taybi

Involvement with soccer started in 1973 when his seven year old son starting playing soccer at the Florence YMCA At the same time, several miles away, another soccer enthusiast with the name of Ron Staurovsky started a similar soccer club in Villa Hills, Kentucky

  • Was deeply involved with the merger of Villa Hills Soccer Club and the YMCA of Florence creating the Northern Kentucky Soccer League

  • Became Kentucky Youth Soccer First State Referee Administrator. Held the SRA job until 1986

  • Became the Director of Assessment and held this position until his retirement from active refereeing in 1988.

  • Officiated hundreds of tournament games including: NCAA and NAIA tournaments. US National Team exhibition games. Kentucky High School Championship Game,and McGuire Cup National Championship Game
